OSRAM out to be independent from the Siemens Group

Osram was founded in 1906, is second only to Philips's second-largest lighting products worldwide sales company, the industry estimates the market value of Osram 65-7000000000 euros in between. Siemens last month announced that OSRAM's new orders and sales in the first three months of fiscal year 2011 has grown 14 percent, but profits will decline 2 percent to 1.41 billion euros.

Siemens announced in November 2010, the company's various departments, "Return on Capital Employed" (ROCE) to 15% to 20%, while Osram and Philips to enhance competition, the need to increase investment, Siemens was forced to reconsider OSRAM future.
